Its minimalist square top is crafted in 19mm thick tempered glass, resting securely on a precision-welded stainless steel flat-bar base. Assembled with exposed machine screws, the frame expresses Kjaerholm’s signature blend of industrial craft and architectural logic.

Inspired By
Poul Kjærholm (1929-1980) preferred steel over wood, unlike his Scandinavian contemporaries. He enjoyed mixing steel with wood, leather, and marble for its structural and artistic qualities, such as its interaction with light. He advocated for simplicity in design.
