The Parentesi Lamp, which emerged in 1971, was aptly named after the parenthesis symbol, owing to its resemblance to the nickel-plated tube that is suspended on a steel cable running from floor to ceiling. This tube allows for the lamp head to be adjusted to a desired height along the cable. The lamp head is made of injection-molded black elastomer and comes equipped with a switch, providing direct illumination. The Parentesi Lamp is available in black and red.
