THE FRAME SIDEBOARD

Cees Braakman was a renowned Danish Designer and furniture manufacturer who created his best work for the Pastoe Furniture Co. as Design Director from 1945-1978. Inspired by the work of Herman Miller and Ray and Charles Eames, Cees was interested in producing progressive contemporary furniture that was functional but also paid attention to traditional craftsmanship.

The Frame sideboard represents this way of thinking, with its sleek and elegant design. Inspired by the famous U+N series from 1958, the base is made up of black powder coated metal and the Cees Braakman Pastoe sideboard is constructed of plywood in oak. The wide aluminium grips accentuate the horizontal form to give you with a truly elegant piece of Danish furniture design.
