EAMES DSR CHAIR | Replica
The DSR chair is one of a series of chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the late ’40s-early’ 50s. The innovative chairs shared the same, ergonomically designed seat shells, with or without arms, combined with different bases, identified by their initials. This one is the Dining Side chair with a steel rod base, while the’W’ in the DSW chair stands for ‘Wood’.
The DSR is also known as the ‘Eiffel’ chair due to its distinctive chromed rod base and supporting structure which resemble the Eiffel Tower. It doesn’t just look well as a dining chair either. It is equally at home behind a desk, in a bedroom, study or anywhere else in the home or office you may care to think of.
